Mr. Mark Van Fleet, CV’s Managing Partner, is a business professional with twenty-five years of accomplishments in the creation and management of successful trade, investment, technology transfer and entrepreneurship initiatives that benefit companies and communities worldwide. 

​For two decades, Mr. Van Fleet held senior executive positions at the nation’s largest business federation, the United States Chamber of Commerce, including VP for Asia Department, CEO of the ASIAN-US Business Council, and Executive Director of International Business Development. He was also the founder and Executive Director of the Center for Global Business Engagement at Purdue University. He holds degrees from Princeton and the University of Virginia. 

Mr. Van Fleet also partners with early stage technology firms, such as Neuro Vigor, to jump start their strategy, financing and corporate development. As a specialist in China business development, he also serves as Advisor for North America-China Technology Exchange, a Chinese organization offering expertise, services and connections to foreign firms to enter and succeed in China.

Mr. Asoka Ranaweera
Asoka helps firms worldwide to structure investment and trade projects in emergent markets with a focus on Africa.   Asoka has advised numerous clients from governments, states, banks, diversified conglomerates to engineering and construction companies. In agriculture these projects have included upstream development of farms and downstream the sales and marketing of agricultural commodities. Projects have also included power generation and renewable energy, the construction of ports and roads. He has also advised mining and oil and gas companies. Previously Asoka worked for several U.S. companies helping them access markets in Africa, China, Brazil, Russia, Turkey and the Caspian Sea Region. Asoka has a B.A. in Development Economics and an M.A. in International Relations from the University of East Anglia in the U.K.. He also has a M.A. in International Transactions from George Mason University. He is based in Washington DC.​

Mr. Michael Halbrook
Michael is an experienced manager of technology transfer programs, specializing in helping companies find, assess and secure rights to cutting-edge innovations from major research universities in the United States and elsewhere. He is also a successful entrepreneur and business development executive, having launched and managed several technology intensive firms in the United States. He has served in senior technology management positions at universities (Purdue, Indiana, Ball State) and corporations. Michael earned degrees from Purdue, Indiana University, and Eastern Michigan. He is based in Indiana, USA.
